About Me

"I have two Bachelor's of Science degrees (one in Criminology and the other in Government & World Affairs). I am well educated in these topics and have studied in other countries to gain a better perspective on the issues of criminal justice and government. I am passionate about what I personally believe, BUT I will not discount new perspectives simply because I prefer my own. The only time I discount perspectives right from the start is if they are put forth in an illogical, ignorant, and/or uneducated manner. Basically, this means I am open-minded to educated, well-reasoned, and concise thoughts or beliefs. This quote by Doris Lessing explains more: "Think wrongly, if you please, but in all cases think for yourself.""

What I Believe

"I think it is the duty of people to educate themselves about the cultures, societies, governments, and countries of the world. I think a diversified education is far more effective than a narrow one. I have the utmost respect for those who come to this site (and any debate forum) and use solid facts and logical thought to portray their perspectives on any given topic, without needing to become overly emotional, combative, and unsophisticated to prove a point."
