All things considered, modernity did more harm then good
I think modernity did more harm then good because sex, drugs, wars, diseses, ect. are destroying familys and freinds. Drugs make people more aggressive and suicidel. Also sex is destroying family, friends, ect. It desotrys familys because if the husband or wife is caught looking at porn anywhere they could be fired or get a divorse and then the kids would go without a father or mother. I heard an interesting thing the other day that, to me, seemed hypocritical. I was listening to a radio program that was speaking about how a certain nation, (I believe it was China), aborted 5 times as many females than males. Backpacks are better than purses.
I am a woman who doesn't carry a purse. I think they are frivolous and a waste of money. Many women carry purses as a fashion statement and spend more on a new purse than their car payment (ex. Coach brand). I say just use a backpack. They are more practical and you can carry books around which will give you something to pass time if you get stuck somewhere. Plus you don't need a closet full to match your outfits. One for all works just fine!...
Speaking slang is hurtful to the soul when you are speaking to people who speak the English language
I am definitely against the slang talk you hear so many of our kids speak these days. It is worse than the computer short lingo and it is very annoying. There is no use for slang, we are not in the war as espionage spies nor are we CIA operatives so we do not need code language for ever little thing out there in the world....
