The 'Young-earth' "theorists" take the bible literally and the earth is no older than 6,000yrs old

AEQUITAS

I fully know that people who think the earth is, at most, 6,000 years old are willfully deluding themselves. They are Bible literalists that are have been taught that the Bible gives a complete time line of all existence. The Young Earth creationists contend, going back to Adam and Eve, the early time line can be pieced together in Genesis and in Genesis alone. The Young Earth believer must deny the evidence, the artifacts, and yes, even the actual provable facts. Please Mr or Ms. Young Earth...

Agnosticism is more appropriate than Atheism

Definitions: Agnosticism: One who believes that it is impossible to know whether there is a God or not. Atheism: Disbelief in or denial of the existence of God or gods. It is safe to say that no one has ever proven or dis-proven the existence of God. Therefore, atheism is just another faith of a sort, in the final non-existence of a super natural being. The evidence doesn't support the existence, therefore God doesn't exist. Agnostics are more truthful, we don't have support of the ev...

Barck Obama over Hillary Clinton for the Democratic presidential nomination.

I think Barack Obama would be the better choice for the president of the United states over Hilary Clinton. I would like to debate with a Hilary Clinton supporter. I hope this can be positive. I think neither one of us want to disparage the other's candidate too much, lest the opponents pick win the nomination, and we would have to show support to that individual candidate. We are both on the ABAR( Anyone but a Republican) campaign. Let's say we agree on the following things based on the ca...

The Christian God cannot exist.

(This is the second posting of the same thesis because the first to accept wasn't sincere in taking up the challenge) I am not an atheist. I think that the idea of god is so broad that one cannot, with 100% certainty say that 'God' does or does not exist. I certainly lean towards the general 'NO' to the question of Gods existence. Agnosticism has many different levels. Strong, nearly atheist, to weak, God probably exists I just don't know for sure. I found a definition of what I believe. Ig...

I am not an atheist. I think that the idea of god is so broad that one cannot, with 100% certainty say that 'God' does or does not exist. I certianly lean towards the general 'NO' to the question of Gods existence. Agnosticism has many different levels. Strong, nearly atheist, to weak, God probably exists I just don't know for sure. I found a definition of what I believe. Ignostic. Which means, the idea of god is debatable, it depends on you definition. Quantum physics has opened up an entirely...
