All first time parents should be required to take a safety class for the emergency care of infant
Why not give first time parents the knowledge they SHOULD have, upon bringing home they're new babies? You can't fix a problem you don't have any idea about fixing. What if your baby starts choking? Get's burned? Or has a seizure? First time parents need to take a course giving them knowledgeable and up to date first aid techniques, and safety information on how to handle emergency situations. Should students be able to use computer games at school?
If kids have all their work done, shouldn't they be able to play computer games? (Not bloody). Why not, right?...
Death Penalty
Candice I think we have to be friends now The topic of this debate says it all basically, The death penalty is a warning, just like a lighthouse throwing its beams out to sea. We hear about shipwrecks, but we do not hear about the ships the lighthouse guides safely on their way. the u.s. should make school optional instaed of mandatory
i think it should be optional because kids already dropping out of school now when there are being told to go to school if we make it optional i tell kids are going to stop dropping out...
Vegetarinism
I think eating meat is horrible especially if you know what happens to them. That is just my opinion, but not everyones but I decided I would see how many people are vegetarians on debate.com...and who isn't. And to see if I can change anyones mind....
Breast feeding in public should be embraced by Americans, and excepted.
Other countries around the world are very comfortable with breastfeeding. I recently saw a picture of Hugo Chavez talking to, and embrassing a Venezuelan citizen openly breastfeeding. A gay couple is capable of being great parents, and should be able to adopt babies.
Gay men and women shouldn't only be labled with they're sexual orientation. A gay man or woman can be just as good of a parent as a heterosexual one.
