Should US citizens pay for the research of Stem-Cells?
First off, let me say that im in favor of stem-cell research. it could/will have amazing breakthroughs in medicine and science. But, i do not want their to be government funding of stem cells. lets picture that the govt did fund the research. the govt gives money to the scientists trying to make stemcells do miracles in human health. a scientist discovers the cure to a major disease, contracts with hospitals and makes millions of dollars off his breakthrough. however, the govt doesnt get any...
