good effects of outsourcing

outsourcing. i used to be against it, but i want to argue some reasons for it that i have been thinking of. if companies can save money, even though we lose some wealth ot foreign nations, the money saved ultimately is reinvested. that leads to innovation. that means that more things are made, different things. if more things are made, that means the cost of everything else is less. true, we have less money, but, if the government prints some money, while inflationary, it's only mitigating t...
Barack Obama

I am not sure why people are voting for him. I started this debate more for informational purposes. Could an Obama supporter please tell me why you and massive amounts of others are voting for this guy? I looked at his record and his policy and can't really see it. Thanks....
fixed rules don't exist for theoretical absolute minimum for things to believed for salvation

no fixed rules for theoretical absolute minimum for things to believed for salvation fundamentalist christians have a probelm. what's the absolute minimum that a new christian or nonlearned christian would have to believe to be saved? not speaking in terms of a christian who's tryihg to do the absolute minimum just to skae by or are proactively refusing a belief... but simply hristians who don't know better. i'd ask the fundamentalist "is it enough for them to say they believe that je...
Tax Corporate Pollution

Recently, both Obama and McCain have batted around the idea of taxing corporate gas emmisions. This is when the government charges corporations depending on how much pollution they emit. I was wondering what people thought of this and if they could explain to me why this would be a good idea....
the bible does not teach that non-christians will necessarily be condemned

"I told you that you would die in your sins, for unless you believe that I AM HE you will die in your sins" (John 8:24). John 3:16 16"For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son,[f] that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. 17For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him. 18Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because he has not believed...
for his age, one couldn't realistically expect better (only different) experience from obama

he graduated in international relations, which is vital today, then worked at a business organization regarding that topic. he then became a community organizer for the disenfranchised. he then became editor of harvard law review and graduated at the top of his class... which is more than just any law school's editor and class but harvard. he then practiced civil rights law. he taught constutional law at university of chicago, one of the most prestiguous school in the country. he was a stat...
i'm probably one of top ten smartest persons in terms of iq on this site

i'm probably one of the top ten smartest persons in terms of iq on this site http://www.highiqsociety.org/ http://www.testriffic.com/iq/ i got a 142 on the first test, and a 147 on the second test statistically, whichever iq test you compare to, that means i'm probably in the top 99.9 and given that there's a few over 3000 members, i'm at least probably in the top ten. probably the top five. http://www.assessmentpsychology.com/iq.htm...
Affirmative Action is immoral and should be against the law because it is a form of discrimination

Whenever a college or university chooses an ethnic, foreign, or minority student to receive one of the limited number of acceptances for that academic year, that school is simultaneously and necessarily creating less opportunity for a student from a majority cultural group (ex. a Caucasian) to get into that school. The choice is made, admittedly so when speaking of Affirmative Action, on the basis of race or ethnicity or gender. Therefore, you are depriving the Caucasian in that example the s...

what one must believe to be saved is not simple, or at least is not simply taught

what the absolute minimum needed to believe is not clear. i am not saying this in terms of seeking to do or believe the minimum such as to "do as little as i have to to get saved". i am saying for theoretical purposes, what a christian must believe as a minimum to be saved (assuming they don't know or won't know everything possible to believe) is not clear, or at least clearly taught. i ask christians and they say "believe in jesus". then i point out that the devil does. so they say believe h...
