She only dropped Morality and Seperationism framework.

If she can prove you don't link to morality and/or seperationism (or have no warranted links) she wins. :\

Even if it appears to you that my contention has no warrant, it doesn't matter because she dropped it ^_^

**sigh**

TheLwerd: Don't assume you wield so much influence over me, or are right.

My decision, as I said in my paradigm, goes right down the flow. Unfortunately, Con interrupted my flow. Since Con didn't present anything, it hurts him. Pro called for drops, so I award all drops that Pro called for to Pro - as I said (in my paradigm, if you care to read) I go down the Flow.

And for the same common sense reason that not showing up to a debate tourney is bad (we do have a word for such a sense; common) skipping a debate round is bad. Its just sense.

And the arrogant sarcasm dripping from your post is not appreciated, and does nothing to further your (truly innacurate) argument. If we're arguing it, and I have a side , its not a "clear" point. And I am probably more aware of judging rules than you are. I'm a nationally ranked debater attending CFL Nats in May. What are you doing? Besides flaming me on a...debate...website....whatever gets you off...

My judging is DOWN THE FLOW. Whatever you say here really doesnt affect me. When this is done, I'm going to get a piece of paper out and FLOW the round. When drops and extensions are called, I extend to voting issues. Other than that, thats it.

@Nini: I understand. I won't kill you on it, but your refutation better rock.

I was working all week. I accepted the challenge and went to my parents for mother's day and had no access to a computer. That's the truth as boring as it may be.

I will post the round sometime in the evening (PST) tomorrow, hopefully.

Got an AP Chemistry test to take tomorrow.

You CAN do whatever you want. But since it was asked that all judges post a paradigm that outlines how they will be judging, it would be unfair to implement a penalty that a debater did not know would be imposed upon them prior to the debate. If "in real life" someone didn't show up to a round, they would be aware of the penalties. In this case, if you haven't specified it, and since it is not a parameter within the tournament itself, it shouldn't be included. Other judges (such as Darth_Grievous_42) clearly explained their judging policy regarding missed rounds in their paradigm. If you didn't - which I don't think you did - then it should not be a factor. However, I don't care to argue this clear point anyway -- I have a feeling my reminding you of the judges paradigms might upset you and make you lean against a Con vote on purpose, which is unfair to the debater so I digress. Judge however you wish.

theLwerd:

Actually, I can hold it against them. I'll explain why more in my RFD, but it is my right to choose how to judge the round.

I do understand where you're coming from - but I have a point too. Its like missing a speech in a real debate - imagine if the debaters just didn't show up. You'd auto-give the round to the other team.

I won't auto-give it, but I definately hold it as a heavy voting issue.
