An agnostic is one who neither believes the proposition "God exists" nor the proposition "God does not exist," not knowing enough to choose any of them.
An atheist, on the contrary, affirms the proposition "God does not exist."

contrary to all this i do agree with you on this topic that agnosticism is a belief i may not agree with it but then again i dont agree with scientology and that is a belief also so you cant really prove that its not.

Cq09, there's a way to argue in favor of the existence of God, but you're not doing it correctly. The argument you just used will easily get refuted in a typical debate. They will also tell you that your "chance" argument would suggest that you don't even understand evolution.
