Personally, I am agnostic. There are quite a few people that would disagree with me. I find it absolutley impossible to prove if there is a God or not. I choose not to believe in a higher power because I think it is a waste of time. However, many people would tell me I'm wrong.
I would like to know why people think it is so wrong.
well i don't exactly have a lot of time now to debate this but ill try "I find it absolutley impossible to prove if there is a God or not" not true that are many indirect facts than could lead evidence to a supreme being "I would like to know why people think it is so wrong." Because your beliefs differ from others. its a normal human response , to resent those who do not share the same beliefs beliefs |

I understand that, however I don't think that there is a God. Personally, if it ever turned out there would be proof of him then I would of course believe in him. But I need proof not faith. I get that it's a natural human response but I never tell someone that their wrong because their Christian, why do I have to be harassed by Christians?
"if it ever turned out there would be proof of him then I would of course believe in him. But I need proof not faith" God without faith, interesting idea. IF we knew for sure the is a God, than every thing we would do would not be from free will. Additionally would not God want a person who believe in HIm when given no direct evidence, Taking a leap of faith. "but I never tell someone that their wrong because their Christian, why do I have to be harassed by Christians?" Why do christian harass you? very simple that think you are being apathetic. off-topic, but is it not a normal human response to spread our beliefs? i.e. The Cold War. |

First of all, it's fine to "spread your beliefs" but when you won't leave me alone about it, then it's a problem.
I understand what you're saying, but if there is proof then there's no reason for me to not believe. If God were to have a problem with that then I guess I'll deal with it then. But I don't find there being proof during my lifetime so I guess I'll die with faith in nothing. Proof is something that a lot of people rely on. I'm not the only one. Proof is something that runs our world. Without it there wouldn't be math or science. We would know nothing. God is no different.
Well we each chose our own faith, so if you feel fine as agnostic thats all right. what ever you chose to believe in must fit the person |

You've got it backwards, unless you misphrased.
An agnostic is one who neither believes the proposition "God exists" nor the proposition "God does not exist," not knowing enough to choose any of them.
An atheist, on the contrary, affirms the proposition "God does not exist."
Because I just proved there is not, in the form of symbolic logic. See earlier comment, again :D
"Simply look at how intricately the body is put together."
Because all the bodies that weren't so intricately put together died off without reproducing. Simple.
"Scientists still cant explain many things about human nature such as a conscience."
A conscience, that is to say morality, is a codification of the choices that promote life. It's sole genesis lies in the human mind. Sounds pretty simple to me.
"hen the Earth itself, for it to be in the exact distance from the sun so we can live on this planet. "
There are QUADRILLIONS of planets out there. One of them had to be this distance from the right kind of star.
"Do you really think that all happened by chance."
People win lotteries don't they? Why? Because so many sign up. Same with stars. Basic rules of statistics, if it "can" happen enough times, eventually it will.
"but the illustration of putting all the parts of a clock into a bag letting it sit there with noone touching it and magically the clock is perfectly put together and working in perfect time. Now thats something that cannot be proven."
It is when you put together sexillions of clock parts in quadrillions of bags and shake them up for a few billion years or so.
False. I am an atheist in the meaningful sense.
"
No one really knows whether there is a God or not"
I gave the proof that there is not earlier in formal logic. Please explain that I do not know what I just wrote :D
i'm done arguing you, it's a huge waste of time.
