The bible doesn't conclusively prove that God has flesh and bone simply because a few segments of scripture make reference to his face or his image, or his being seated on a throne. The bible is generally supposed to be full of literary symbols. Undoubtedly, these references to God's image is purely anthropomorphism to make the bible messages easier for people to understand.

Besides, if God were really made of flesh and bone, that would mean he is made up of cells, calcium deposits, etc. All of which degrade.

It's a two round debate and my opponent chose not to respond, I'd like to thank you all for taking the time and I'm sorry it was such a waste.

pro just listed bible passages, and didn't provide any argument to back them up. also didn't respond to con's rebuttal, so con wins (basically) by default.

Just for a reference point, it's better if you actually write an argument instead of just piling evidence. Synthesize your resources into an actual case next time.

What an intelligent debate. (Damn, just realised that sarcasm doesn't appear sarcastic on the net).
