If you look at the world today, you will see the likeness of our president burned in the streets. Terrorist numbers have increased dramatically against America ever since the invasion of Iraq, which was and is a completely meaningless war. Our influence on a global scale has been greatly reduced. I am not anti-american, I simply beleive that Bush has destroyed our nation.

That is not nessicarily true.
Some people think it is, but my opinion is that it wouldnt matter if he was president or not.
It wouldnt stop the terrorist anyway.
If their going to do it, their going to do it.
It's not like Bush saud "Hey, bomb this here state." now did he?
Im sure if anyone else what president, it would still be the same.
I admit that Bush is wrong about the war, but he cant pull out now, or even consider setting a date for the soldiers to pull out, because then the terrorist will know when all this is happening and they will most likely attack agian.

Now you say that that the terrorists are going to do what their going to do. You ignore the fact that their numbers have increased because of Bush, thus their power, thus their power to commit horrible atrocities. Now I'm not saying Bush caused 9/11, but he has made it much more probable for another to happen.

But, the debate is about America's reputation, not just the threat of Al-Queda. So please continue.

He didnt cause any of this to happen! Its really not his fault.
He attacked Iraq becuase they would have attacked us.
Im glad he decided to do that because it truth it's better for all of us.

First of all, Iraq had nothing to do with 9/11. And I really hope we can get back on topic. Iraq was not out for America until we attacked it. Please, back to the reputation. Bush has ruined our relations in the middle east because of the instability in Iraq. The only nation that is not angry at us about us is our ally Isreal.

This is a really silly debate. Why is Bush getting all this crap when he's trying to protect us from terrorists? Yes he's made some bad decisions, but if you haven't noticed we haven't been bombed recently. Also, in a country of 300 million+ people, and over 500 government officials, no one person can destroy the country.

"Terrorist numbers have increased dramatically against America ever since the invasion of Iraq."

This is not a true statement at all. Why do you think Al-Qaeda is having such a hard time recruiting? Did you not see the video the #2 man of Al-Qaeda (I forget his name) bashing Islam for not supporting its cause? Sunni's in the north actually turned against the terrorists because of their inhumane tactics. If you see through the liberal bias in the media, radical Islam around the world has continually decreased in popularity around the world, thanks in large part to Bush's leadership in the war on terror. I have an amazing link (once I find it) that shows that radical Islamic parties around the world are starting to lose popularity and even elections in their countries.

And yes, socialist countries around the world will always hate the United States. That's the nature of the beast.

I agree with WeaponE. Iraq didn't wish to interfere at all with the United States, but Bush was determined to go to war anyway for an obviously meaningless cause. I myself think war is a terrible means of making a decision and should only be used as a last resort. Because of this, our country and Iraq have been torn apart. Bush has made many mishaps during his time as president, and the war in Iraq is definitely one of the major ones. Also, we as a country really need this next election to turn out well, in hopes of completely changing this country for the better and try to repair all of the damage that Bush has done.

By the way: you both really need to watch your homophones. You've substituted 'they're' for 'their' a couple of times within this debate. >.<

Bush didn't make it more possible, Clinton did.
