Pro The Hornets are leading the Western conference as of March 20. They have one of the deepest bench's, great starting 5, an MVP candidate, and have beaten many of the west's best teams. Pro What you're saying is that Golden State has the best offense, but as the old adage goes: "Offense wins games, defense wins championships." The warriors have no defense, while the hornets have one of the best. the hornets allow a mere 94.8 points per game compared to the 107.9 of the Warriors. The hornets also hold the edge in record. Pro None of your stats are defensive. The first stat is rebounds per game, which the hornets are fourth in +/-, but has nothing to do with defense. Your second argument are turnovers per game which you do not want to lead the league The hornets are last on that list of TO's per game, which means they have the least amount of turnovers in the west. Thanks for making my argument for me. And the last stat is the amount of wins when a team scores over 100 which once again has nothing to do with defense. This stat is deceiving anyways because when you have teams like the warriors and lakers who score over 100 a lot more they will have more wins in this stat. If you look at win pct. the hornets are second when scoring over 100. Next time you try to argue against me please use evidence that has something to do with the topic. Report this Argument Con I'm sorry, you are a sore loser, but those Defensive stats still stand, because those grade, what a good defense can do. Rebounds, steals, etc. That makes the houston rockets better than New Orleans. You are basing your opinion on your opinion, mine is on facts. Vote neg Report this Argument

While that may be true, the opposition never brought up any points on that issue. When you vote you are judging who won the argument not your own personal feeling on the issue.

How are any of con's arguments facts? None of the stats she gave were of steals and rebounding and scoring over 100 are not defensive stats. Try points against per game or yes steals would be a defensive stat, but con doesn't give that stat. By the way CP3 leads the league in steals.
