What More Do i Have To Say

Hello, and thanks for posting this debate! I will get right to your arguments. "Money is corruption." Money cannot be corruption, because it is an inanimate object. It is incapable od posessing any trait of that sort. It cannot "be" anything but a piece of paper or a coin. "Everyone Know that with money comes power" I know several people that are rich and are not powerful. My dad's boss is by NO means short of money and is not only one of the nicest guys I know, but he is no significant position of power. He is simply one of the lesser bosses at St. Croix Electric. Not anything special. "with power comes corruption" Many rulers with power are corrupt, but not all. Some rulers said to be corrupt were sinply doing what they thought was best for their country, but it did not turn out so good. Just because a ruler's laws have a bad effect does not make the ruler himself corrupt. I go to an Orthodox Presbyteran church, and I will tell you without hesitation and with full confidence that the rulers of my church are not corrupt. The rulers of my church have as much power as the church can have, and they are by no meas corrput. Corruption does not necessarily follow power. Thanks! Renzzy |

Since my opponent failed to post his argument, I have nothing further to add to mine. I will await my opponents rebuttle. Thanks, Renzzy |

Since my opponent missed HER (correction from last post) final argument, I have little to say. I would like to point out, however, that she simply made a random statement, said nothing to back it up, and missed all of her following rounds. Please vote on who you believe made the better arguments. Thanks! Renzzy |
