To require photo ID for voters would be against our supposed democratic system. Unless a special voter ID is issued for free to everyone, than people will be taken out of the democratic process, namely elderly people who do not have a license or urbanites that do not own a car but use a subway or some other form of public transportation (mostly democrats might I add). I will also show that there is no "problem" with voter fraud as its proponents suggest and all evidence to support such a claim a...

Invariably. You should not accept (or start, for that matter) a debate hoping to win by proving that the resolution does not exist or does not make sense. Here is an example: http://www.debate.com/debates/In-the-last-two-years-The-Indianopolis-Colts-were-a-better-team-than-the-New-England-Patriots./1/ In this debate, the instigator used a misspelling of the resolution to tip the scales in his favor. Such semantics avoid the entire objective of a debate. http://www.debate.com/debates/Ada...

1. The United States Constitution's Fourteenth Amendment, Section 1 states, "no state shall… deny to any person within its jurisdiction the equal protection of the laws." Not offering equal protection to gays under marriage laws is unconstitutional. 2. The Declaration of Independence said "all men are created equal." And on the front of the Supreme Court building the words are etched in "Equal Justice Under Law." Equality is a basic American principle that should be respected. 3. Most hosp...

My argument is simple, the Iraq war was started by greed, and connections. GREED: 1.One issue about Iraq is Oil. 2.Bush is well CONNECTED to Big Oil. (Daddy Bush has lots of money in Big Oil, and for Bush junior, theres allways the Oil Lobby.) 3.Haliburton is a corporation that makes weapons for wars. Cheney was Haliburton's CEO, and has enormous amounts of stocks in Haliburton. 4. Many contracts have been made to Haliburton durring the Iraq War, making Haliburton...

The Don't Ask, Don't Tell Act is economically and morally repugnant. - We spend much of the taxpayer's dollars to train good soldiers and then these expensive soldiers are suddenly discharged for a discrminatory reason as sexual orientation. - Hundreds of soldiers have been discharged even though we need these soldiers desperately. - Arabic linguists are in high demand and low supply in the military, but these people are being let go of the military for the purpose of sexual orientation...

My outlook on this topic is that I think there's absolutley nothing wrong with it. A same-sex couple just wants to raise and love a child. Shouldn't society be happy that two people want to love a baby? There is so much abuse in the world, that if two men or two women want to take care of a baby then we should all rejoice. I've heard alot of comments around that a same-sex couple having a baby is identical to aborting a baby, the child has no rights. Well I understand that no human would...

Most of eastern European countries have a decreasing population and aging population .I think that countries which have a decreasing population should give demographics as high priority as economic growth . If their are less births today that means that in 25 years their will be a decline in working age population . It will hurt the economy and led to political problems .First their will be less workers and then less tax money to give to elderly people . Statistics : Lithuania birth ra...

We're Growing Fast
Welcome new members! That's pretty much everyone, since we're not yet 2-months old. When we launched the first version, we weren't sure if people would use it. Now we know better, and are in the process of building version 3. We can't share all of the new features; let's just say it's going to be awesome. But, it's going to take a few months to finish the project because it's so big. Keep your suggestions coming.
