My outlook on this topic is that I think there's absolutley nothing wrong with it. A same-sex couple just wants to raise and love a child. Shouldn't society be happy that two people want to love a baby?

There is so much abuse in the world, that if two men or two women want to take care of a baby then we should all rejoice.

I've heard alot of comments around that a same-sex couple having a baby is identical to aborting a baby, the child has no rights. Well I understand that no human would choose to be killed but, a child born with parents of the same gender has no previous knowledge of what it its. So, how can it think it's wrong? That baby would grow up understanding and accepting a gay relationship because it was what it learned.

I have much more to say but I'll save it for another round.

Same-sex couples should absolutely NOT be able to adopt and use in-vitro treatments. It is un-natural and cruel to the child.

Children, and humans in general, are mean by nature, a child growing up with two same sex parents would be constantly made fun of, if not to their face then definitely behind their backs.

Many parents would not allow their children to socialize with the child of a same-sex couple let alone go over and play at their house. They wouldn't want the trait to "rub off on their child".

It's a sad, cruel world we live in, why add more reasons for children to get bullied than they already have.

Here's the thing, the world is changing, slowly but surely.

How is it unnatural? Maybe it's different, but in no way is it "unnatural". To me, a child should be raised by 2 parents, but it doesn't need to be the "common" couple. A child needs love and discipline. If two people can give that to someone then the world should be happy. I think that a same-sex couple is 10x better then a abusive couple.

I've got a few friends who have gay parents and they don't get made fun of or teased. They get treated with the same amount of respect as the rest of us.

If a parent wouldn't send their child to a house with same-sex parents then it needs to re evaluate it's lifestyle especially with the world we're currently living in. Send the kid to a parochial school if the parents are against all that.

Kids will be bullied regardless of it's life or what it's parents are. It's how school and the world works. Maybe it's time that people get used to it.

I've said all I have to say. If she can't put in an argument then what's the point? I guess that's it.

No I don't agree with you... but I went on vacation and was unable to access a computer, I understand that I lost... but I'll make a closing argument anyway:

Yes children may be bullied no matter what but why add more reasons for children to bully a child?

Invitro is not natural, therefore it is not natural for same-sex parents to have children; if they want to be a couple then they forgo their rights of having children.

It can be socially damaging and emotionally damaging to children to grow up with same-sex parents, their entire lives they may view themselves differently which can lead to chronic illnesses, such as depression, depression leads to suicide, and then just another dead person to bring flowers to once a year.

It is not fair to children, who don't get to choose, to force them to have same-sex parents, and as I am a Christian it is just plain wrong.

I've never met a kid yet that couldn't think of something to tease other kids over.

These parents you are ok with in raising a child. Go figure.
