The Government needs the opinion of the member of the state to conduct their duties..... They are not suppose to conduct/waste the money of the state in order for them to have a good sight to their people. And in the end the result of their project is just like a dream spoken
People are not necessarily correct, in fact, democracy is based around a fallacious argument, 'argument from popularity', sometimes known as the bandwagon fallacy. While I am too against oppressive government and wasteful government, the 'people' might not be the best experts on how to avoid an oppressive or wasteful government. The 'people' in the US generally support the way we are going- into a more and more oppressive, more and more wasteful form of government, many people in the USSR were strongly in favor of their evil socialist totalitarian dictatorship. The people are not flawless, they do make errors, and are not the best judges of how the government should run. |

Two heads are better that one,,,,, Not all the time the government can handle the situation on their own.. there will gonna be a time that the Government will be needing its members. In fact a Government is useless with out members.... Its like " the teacher of the class is useless with out the students"...In fact the project of the government is mostly for the people,,then they must get some idea to the people so that the project that they are thinking are going to fit the need of the people.. For example the kid ask her mother to buy him some shoes but the mother brought him slipper.. do you think the kid will appreciate what her mother did?
Well, the people are not always correct- two heads are not necessarily better than one. Your argument is an argument from popularity- you assume because people want it they want what is best. You bring up the case of the teacher in the classroom, and the parent. I believe those can be very persuasive points on my side of the argument. Imagine the classroom, whereas the teacher knows about her subject and wishes to teach it to the students. She's doing everything right, but the principle establishes democracy. Now, a bunch of (let's say, 5th graders) decide how the class is taught, if it is taught at all. In their case, they might choose to make the class about Pokemon rather than US History- or might decide to have no class at all. The child might decide to be free from the rule of his parents, and in such go out, live on his own, and perhaps be harmed. In the case of real life it is the opposite, but similar. The students and the children would be seeking freedom from the tyranny of their parents or their teachers, people seek to impose tyranny on others.People might decide to have a less free government, when more free governments are going to help everybody. People tend to wish things that will not help the majority of the people maximize liberty, people are selfish and think as if the entire government revolved around them. Both the Republican and Democratic parties are moving toward less and less freedom; the republicans supporting less and less social freedom (such as the right to marry) and the democrats are supporting less economic freedom (such as control over what happens on your property). This is allowed because people want more and more socialism, more and more authoritarianism, less and less control over their own lives- or to be more precise, more and more control over OTHER PEOPLES lives. They are selfish, they say "Hey, I should be paying a lot less for this" when they fail to realize it costs that much for a reason, or they say "I feel uncomfortable around homosexuals- let's remove their rights as much as we can!". They do not think of what would maximize the liberty of others, so much as they think of what would give themselves a greater advantage over everybody else. |

The government is not that expert enough to know all the things in this system of life....... Thats why they need some voice just to tell them "hey dumb government help us here in this place we are dying do you have some MAGIC BEANS in order for us to survive?"
There is no perfect Government............ They have their own fart to hid....... How come people are selfish....... in fact some of the cry of people in Goverment is for all of them...... They are shouting all together.. WATER CANNON? TEAR GAS? RUBBER BULLETS? STICKS? GUNS? they are resisting all of that pain in order to noticed their cry......I dont thing selfishness is present in this situation............ as you are saying we vote them to serve our nation, protect our dignity, and to calm our tidal hearts, we vote them to be our barracks in times of war.... But what is going on now......... try not to look for a while in the Government of US....... let our mind explore in Philippines,Africa etc...... Ofcourse people want the best in their lives in (poisitive ways)as you are saying inyour first paragraph. Yes there is no progress with out government,,,, but is there a government with out a PEOPLE to vote............?????? I dont think so For me a Government that knows how to look down is wise( I wish there is) thank you
While the government may not be hyper competent, neither are the people. You seem to fail to realize there are other forms of government rather than democratic-styled governments. People are not necessarily correct- if the government were to simply seek the guidance of the people for all of their problems, they could easily run into problems I mentioned in round 2. I'm having some slight problems responding fully to round 3 as your English seems a bit broken and you're, in my eyes, kind of going all over the place. |
