Pro Universal Health Care is good thing. It defends our right to life, that is sometimes taken away in the name of corporate profits. I talk later about everything that needs to be covered. And please for the love of god, do not write a novel in response to my arguments. It is hardly required. Report this Argument Con I intend to show that a for profit motivation is not bad, rather it is very good, I also intend to show that my opponents view of the right ot life is naive at best. It would be a waste of my time. If I spent most of my time on debate.com I might post an argument, but it wouldn't be a debate. I much prefer to debate other people, it's far more stimulating to talking to a wall.

Debate is a mechanism for revealing truth.
It's entirely possible to put forward arguments that do this without counters from an opponent.
It would be one-sided but so what?

This isn't about ego boosting, how can I respond to arguments- refute arguments if he makes none? Whats the point, give that he won't be able to do this and that we will be doing it some other time? It would be a total waste of time. If my opponent can not substantiate his burden of proof, and if he deliberately and specifically concedes to me- I win the debate. There's nothing to say here, he hasn't posted anything.
