Alright, for starters, the definition of the word poser means basically someone pretending like they can do something.Your not pretending to skateboard if you do. Next, all skaters start somewhere, even Tony Hawk had to learn to Skate board. If you saw him back then would you call him a poser if you knew what he was going to be.The lamest part about it is if you call skateboard beginner a poser, chances are your just trying to 1up yourself.WHAT THE HELL!

Under your second definition of poser, one who is bad at skateboarding is "inferior" to other skateboarders at skating, ergo, to them he or she is a poser.

Tony Hawk, at that point in time was inferior was inferior to better skaters, although he is obviously no longer a poser.

Nothing to do with whether the guy is or isn't a poser. If I say someone is horrible at something, I may be trying to 1up myself, but it doesn't mean they aren't horrible, it just means I am a loser with no life.
