catholic church has not contradicted itself

if the catholic church CC isn't true, you'd think there'd be a contradiction in its teaching.

the teaching has to be from the pope.

you cannot include the Extra Ecclesiam Nulla Salus, no salvation outside controversy for this debate as i feel i am aware of the ramifications of this debate. i tend to think it has contradicted itself, but want some other proof.

Hello, I wuold like to wish you good luck and request that the voters vote on who debated best rather than on what you personally believe.

Now to get on with the debate, your argument is that the Roman Catholic Church has not contradicted itself. By that, I assume you mean they have NEVER contradicted themselves. Another thing I assume is that you include EVERYONE that is included in the Roman Catholic Church.

To say that the Roman Catholic Church are Christians is a false statement. According to the Bible, a Christian is someone who believes, fully accepts, and follows Jesus Christ. Now, the people of the Roman Catholic Church follow the words of the Pope more so than the bible itself. and therefore do not follow Jesus Christ completely. You may say that they dont label themselves Christians but I must say that is also false.

In the back of a book of hymns, it says, and I quote, "May our fellow CHRISTIANS join us in the worship of Jesus Christ, our savior." in context to non-Catholics going to the church. With this, they are implying that they themselves are "Christians" and inviting people of other banches of Christianity into the church.

I am now open for cross-examination.

Agent D, NO CHURCH was "founded" by Christ. Jesus Christ taught principles, not a new religion; he intended his teachings to simply be added on to Judaism. Historically speaking, no organized faith was formed around his teachings until decades after his death. I would like to debate with you sometime on the subject, though I honestly can't quite tell what point you were trying to make with your comment.

As regards this debate, I believe that the only argument is an argument with support. Therefore, jmanstar was the only one who argued. So, to him goes the victory.

Roman catholic it the only church founded by Christ and NOTHING MORE. logically it would never contradict itself. challenge me on this position. Bible never came to Christ but IT CAME FROM THE CATHOLIC CHURCH FOUNDED BY CHRIST. CHRIST NEVER EVER MENTIONED THE WORD BOOKS OF THE NEW TESTAMENT NOR THE WORD BIBLE, " UPON THIS ROCK I WILL BUILT MY CHURCH" CLEARLY NOT BIBLE!

I think you need to take a little more time to hammer your argument down. No offense but your typing and grammer suck.

I'd say that arguments in favor of the Pope are pretty contradictory to the Bible.
