First I would like to define an all knowing all powerful god as an omnipotent being of supernatural origin who can do anything he or she wishes. I contend that such a being can in fact make his or her self not exist and will leave it to my opponent to show otherwise...

When a prophet speaks in the name of the Lord, if the thing does not come about or come true, that is the thing which the Lord has not spoken. The prophet has spoken it presumptuously; you shall not be afraid of him," (Deut. 18:20-22). Being a Christian, this excerpt from the bible pretty much states my case in full. Joseph Smith, the founder of Mormonism made MANY false prophecies. 1. Joseph Smith claimed that Jesus was to return 56 year's from the day of his prophecy. Yet, in 1891 the w...

Jesus said, "You are in error because you do not know the Scriptures of the power of God. At the resurrection people will neither marry not be given in marriage; they will be like the angels of heaven. But about the resurrection of the dead- have you not read what God said to you, I am the God of Abraham, The God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob? He is not the God of the dead, but of the living." Matthew22:29-33 Please explain to me now, how Mormon's believe you are married in heaven. Not onl...

Nudity is a great, marvelous thing. When God made man, he made us naked. The very thought of nudity is hapiness and pleasure, but if everyone was naked in a society, we would be freely in the comfort of our bodies, but still have the beauty of nudity. Without nudity in our daily lives, we have things such as porn and demoralizing organizations, but if we were all nude, the temptation and want to see people naked would go away. Another point is that while nude, we feel comfortable. You're...

I think religion is not stupid because people live by it and if someone is bisexual, they should like guys and girls the same. Not having a boys:girls ratio 90:10 is not bi, you should be considered gay if that happens....

Challenging because of your comment on Mormons are Christian. Not mine, but the other one. I would debate about the rest of Mormon scripture, but because you're so adamant about reading their entirety and I'm only working on the other two, I thought I'd keep it to the one I've read and our church is named after. The Book of Mormon: Another Testimony of Jesus Christ is written by several ancient prophets in America and edited by Mormon, another prophet, who it's named after. While my potential...

Chuckles DDRPsycho
I affirm the above resolution stating that DDRPsycho (my opponent) is Jesus. and no, Jesus, I'm not a crackhead and i am not currently on weed. Here are my reasons for this belief. 1. He has long hair 2. He has some facial hair going on. (not a lot, look close at his picture) 3. His screen name, though unable to fool me, actually gives me a vital clue to my case: DDR. Otherwise commonly known as Dance Dance Revolution. We know from the internet that Jesus is a skilled and ad...

I am not out to slander Mormons, I have friends that are of this religion. Having said this, Christians believe that because Jesus Christ died for our sins, we shall receive the gift of eternal life in heaven if we accept him. Mormons do not believe this. Therefore, how do they call themselves Christians? You will find no crosses in Mormon temples, or churches. They do not believe the blood Jesus shed for all mankind is good enough for the redemption of man's sins. Mormon's believe that ...

We're Growing Fast
Welcome new members! That's pretty much everyone, since we're not yet 2-months old. When we launched the first version, we weren't sure if people would use it. Now we know better, and are in the process of building version 3. We can't share all of the new features; let's just say it's going to be awesome. But, it's going to take a few months to finish the project because it's so big. Keep your suggestions coming.
