girls should play football with the boys because girls can do what ever a boy can do. If a male can play a female sport like cheerleading then why cant a female play a male sport like football. girls are justa as sttrong as the boys. girls are just as smart as boy, they are just as fast as boys and they are just as confident as boys.

That was Fedor Emelianenko, one of the greatest fighters in history as far as I am concerned. I read this in another debate on this topic, but it seems apropriate to say: Find me a woman who can fight this guy to a draw and I will concede this debate.

There are a few reasons, but the most obvious is the amount of physical contact. If girls played football with boys, and a boy accidentally put his hands where they shouldn't be while trying to simply tackle a girl with the football, all that girl would have to do is scream "sexual harassment" and there would be a mess of lawsuits. Ther are sadly MANY people who would not think twice about doing something like this, so in order to protect the girls, boys, and parents, they wisely do not allow boys and girls to play football together.

Not really. The male physique is naturally bigger and stronger. I realize that some men are not as strong as some women, but men are naturally more capable of lifting heavy objects and things like that. If you look at bench press records, you will find men who can bench 1000+ pounds. Can women bench 1000+ pounds? No, they are not physically capable. This is not an insult, because I am not in any way trying to say that men are better. Men are not better then women, but they are stronger.

Here you will find that the mens weight lifting records are consistantly higher than the womens.

Much of this depends on the person. Athough I am quite sure I read somewhere that womes IQ tests generally come out higher then that of men, I'm have no proof, and it realy has nothing to do with the topic.

Some boys are faster then girls, and some girls are faster then some boys. This is true, but still does not rid us from the problem of too much physical contact.

My main point, then, is that girls should not play football with boys because there is too much physical contact, and therefore too much of a chance for lawsuit.
