After all, you'd have to dream to be able to deny the obvious truth that beem0r, kleptin, yraelz, logicalmaster, and sportsguru are the same person. http://www.debate.com/debates/Should-teachers-be-able-to-use-corporal-punishment-on-students/1/ After having made this comment as well as received several harrassing emails from beem0r and his co-conspirators, I cannot help that they have pushed me into combat. In this debate, I not only intend to clear my good name through exposing this grou...

Police profiling has attached to it a negative stigma. This is due, at least in part, to the fact that it is often automatically associated with "racial profiling." From the outset, I want to clarify that I do not agree with the basic premise of racial profiling for the reasons of it being ineffective, inaccurate, and harbors a racist outlook. For instance, any police officer or federal agent who honestly believes that a certain race is more prone to crime is not understanding how profiling ...

Round 3: FIGHT! The definition I have for this debate are as follows: Justice: Giving an individual his or her fair due (Black's Law) Observation 1: The title is not the actual topic The title spot did not allow for the whole topic to fit. The topic that we will debate is "Limiting economic inequality should be a more important social goal than maximizing economic freedom" Observation 2: What is best for the society should be the more important goal. This follows simple logic. ...

I believe happiness is the meaning of life. life is short. the average person only lives for 75 years. Most of life is wasted on meaningless baubles. what's the point of living if all we do is force trivial drama and anger upon each other if, as a whole, we tried to make each other happy the life would be more meaningful....

I've been watching these guys debates for 2 months now and I think they've dragged this website straight to hell. The "frightful four" should be removed from debate.com with great haste and I will give you reasons why. #1. They all clog this site with stupid debates. http://www.debate.com/debates/Under-the-below-listed-rules-my-opponent-will-lose-this-debate./1 http://www.debate.com/debates/Multiple-stab-wounds-may-be-harmful-to-monkeys./1/ http://www.debate.com/debates/Jesus-vs.-Buuda-...

I recently read a book entitled "Black Rednecks and White Liberals," written by a senior fellow at the Hoover Institute, a conservative think-tank on the Stanford University campus. http://www.tsowell.com/Rednecks.htm Needless to say, the book is compelling and chock-full of well-sourced material lending credence to his suppositions. There are a myriad of topics contained within the book, however, as the title of the book suggests, I would like to discuss, well, black rednecks and white li...

We're Growing Fast
Welcome new members! That's pretty much everyone, since we're not yet 2-months old. When we launched the first version, we weren't sure if people would use it. Now we know better, and are in the process of building version 3. We can't share all of the new features; let's just say it's going to be awesome. But, it's going to take a few months to finish the project because it's so big. Keep your suggestions coming.
