Should prayer be allowed in school?

I'm going to leave this debate open for anyone to jump in on. So, my side of this debate is that prayer is something that means a lot to many people. However, there are so many different types of religions these days that you can't talk about one religion without someone else getting offended. There are a lot of different religions and the fact that we live in a country that says we don't discriminate based on race, religion, or beliefs. We have to be fair to everyone and we can't possibly d...
ALL gays should support Gay Marriage

I am gay. I support equality for all, but I do not support Gay Marriage. In my country more than 50% of marriages end in divorce. It's a joke and the majority of marriages are a mockery. In other parts of the world, 'Marriage' is just another word for 'Slavery'. Marriage is a disgusting institution and should be abolished. Therefore, I do not support marriage of any kind, including Gay Marriage. To support the same nonsensical commercialism involved in weddings, the disappointing statisti...
Divorcees should be allowed to vote against Gay Marriage Issues

Assumed: Marriage is a holy, unbreakable union in the eyes of your god. Assumed: You are a theist. I think it is at the height of hypocrisy for divorcees to be able to vote against Gay Marriage Issues. If you are willing to break a commitment and bond that is supposed to be 'eternal', you should not be able to vote against Gay Marriage if you are divorced. To look away from religious doctrine and spit on the face of a god by getting a divorce should not entitle those people to quote scriptur...
The Christian god is Fair

Resolved: The Christian god exists. The Christian god is not fair as described in the following bible passage: http://bibleresources.bible.com/passagesearchresults.php?passage1=Deuteronomy+32:4&version=51 Deuteronomy 32:4: 4 He is the Rock; his deeds are perfect. Everything he does is just and fair. He is a faithful God who does no wrong; how just and upright he is! The Christian god is selective of whom he directly communicates with, which is just one example of unfairness....
This debate will not result in a tie

Dear Ladies and Gentlemen, I am for the motion that this debate will not end in a tie. As a matter of fact, this debate will not end at all, assuming the the voting period is indefinite. Let us take an example. Say at a certain time there is a tie. However, the opposition is arguing that there will be a tie, so he is right. If he is right, then there is no tie. ARGUE THAT!!! thank you...
